My recruitment journey began many years ago, leading me to establish and grow successful businesses over the years. In 1987, I ventured out on my own, and by 2001, the company had expanded to 16 offices with 150 staff before a notable sale and retirement.

In 2004, I launched another recruitment venture, scaling it to 50 employees and a multimillion turnover, culminating in another successful sale and retirement.

Fast forward to 2016, Jo and I joined forces to create the TMR Group, embarking on a new chapter. The question remains: where will this journey lead? The answer is uncertain, but one thing is sure – I’m relishing every moment of this evolving path.

I registered with TMR when I arrived and they found me work as a contractor specialising in my chosen field of Credit Control. As their business grew, they realised they needed a permanent Credit Controller, approached me and here I am and have been for about 4 years.

I really enjoy my role every day presents a new challenge .

I have extensive experience of working within recruitment as a Financial Controller, working with Andy and Jo in the past, and I enjoy the variety that my role brings. We have now also on boarded another recruitment business specialising in the legal sector which offers a challenging and diverse working environment.

In my role, I manage the monthly accounts packs, monthly cashflows (critical for an SME) and the annual budget preparation along with attending the board meetings to provide the financial input when discussing the results and growth strategy plans.
