An independent, family run manufacturing business are looking to recruit a Materials Planner to join the team. Currently experiencing rapid growth due to recently diversifying into various markets included sporting, leisure and security.
What will you do as Materials Planner?
- Planning and securing the raw materials for products
- Maintaining the MIE Trak MRP
- Monitoring inventory, reviewing orders and consulting with other departments regarding sales, production and shipping
- Keeping an accurate record on the MRP system for all stock, materials and parts
- Obtain up to date pricing information from suppliers
- Assist the Directors in developing standard operating procedures in relation to the MRP system
What do you need as a Material Planner?
- Able to implement new systems for using the MRP
- Working as a Material Planner in a manufacturing environment
- Previously have worked importing raw materials from overseas
- Experienced working with MRP systems
- Able to work in a standalone position
