This is a hands-on role within an SME environment, where you will take ownership of an international ledger and play a key role in maintaining cash flow and building strong customer relationships.

 

The business operates with a close-knit finance function, offering visibility, responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements.

What will you do as a Credit Controller?

 

  • Manage German-speaking sales ledger, ensuring accurate customer accounts
  • Chase outstanding debt via phone and email within credit terms
  • Build relationships with international clients and internal teams to support cash collection
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and payment queries
  • Allocate receipts and reconcile the sales ledger regularly
  • Support month-end tasks including aged debt reporting and reconciliations
  • Assist with wider transactional finance duties as required
  • Liaise with sales, operations, and finance to resolve account issues

 

What do you need as a Credit Controller?

 

  • Fluent in German and English (essential)
  • Previous experience within credit control or accounts receivable
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently within a small team
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous
