What will you do as a Semi Senior Accountant?

  • Prepare comprehensive monthly/quarterly management accounts.
  • Handle business tax computations and support compliance tasks.
  • Review and accurately prepare VAT returns to meet HMRC deadlines.
  • Serve as a main point of contact, providing clear client liaison and support.
  • Assist in the finalisation of year-end financial statements.
  • Perform and maintain precise client record reconciliations.
  • Contribute to essential general office administration.
  • Proactively support the team to ensure all statutory and client deadlines are met effectively.

 

 

What do you need as a Semi Senior Accountant?

  • Proven prior experience working within an Accountancy Practice is highly desirable.
  • A comprehensive understanding of fundamental accounting principles and procedures.
  • AAT qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/ACA qualification.
  • Practical working knowledge of Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and colleague interaction.
