The Role

As Business Development Manager you will identify new business leads and nurture opportunities to be handed to our account management team to develop the business. You need to be passionate about the agencies service culture and the great work that they deliver. You will be given all the autonomy and support that you need to enable you to grow and develop in your role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

You will be required to work off your own initiative to implement your own prosecting and networking techniques, to generate qualified new business leads and opportunities. You will also be required to attend briefing meetings and/or present agency credentials to marketing decision makers.

  • Working with the Strategic Team to set and agree strategies for increasing customer base and revenue.
  • Utilise all avenues of lead generation using a variety of business development techniques such as networking, telemarketing and LinkedIn prospecting
  • Generate leads, attend initial meetings and pitches, and facilitate the initial handover to the relevant Account Manager
  • Monitor, track and evidence business activity working towards business set targets and KPI’s

 

Knowledge / Experience Required:

The successful candidate will be a focused and driven lead generator who loves the thrill of the chase, and will work closely with the Senior Management team to strategically grow the business through extending its already impressive portfolio of clients.

 

  • Experience of selling branding, creative design, print, marketing or digital related services to a range of different industries.
  • An in-depth understanding of the full marketing mix and the knowledge on how to turn client briefs into award successful projects and campaigns.
