We are The Marketing Recruitment Group.  We are focussed solely on marketing recruitment – it’s all we do and it’s who we are.

We have a proven track record of success in marketing recruitment, we really do understand the needs of both candidates and clients in the Midlands and surrounding areas.  Recruiting is one of the most stressful and important parts of any business.  Through an approach that allows us to really get to know our clients and candidates properly, we introduce the right talent to the employer.  But we do it in a simple, effective and professional way.  After all recruitment doesn’t need bells and whistles, but it does need to be done properly.

Formality is not what we do but this doesn’t mean we are not totally professional; it simply means that when you meet with us we’d prefer do it in a relaxed and conversational way. As a candidate at your first meeting we’ll have an informal chat over a coffee, a mutual ‘getting to know you’ before concentrating on the serious business of finding you the next position.  As a client our aim is to understand your business as well as you, to ensure you recruit the right person.

Jo Faria

I originally came from a background in professional services, specialising in HR, I joined the recruitment industry through some great people that I met and formed lasting relationships with. Originally working as a temps consultant, I eventually moved on to become a permanent consultant, manager and then regional manager.  I have been lucky to work with great people and teams which has in turn resulted in many awards regionally and nationally. I have recruited through just about every sector you can think of and many many types of skill sets too – this includes marketers and accountants.

I love marketing recruitment because: Marketing for me offers a chance to meet a huge diverse range of candidates and clients – with equally diverse skills sets and needs.

Zinia Bain

I came into recruitment many years ago and have worked in financial, high street and executive search businesses – I thoroughly enjoy meeting candidates and clients and building those long term relationships that add value.  Many clients see me as an extension of their own human resources department and candidates I’ve worked with throughout my career see me as someone they can trust to represent them and offer the very best opportunities that suit their aspirations and career goals long term. I have worked as a temps and perms consultant in many sectors of recruitment and I am proud that due to my ability to match clients’ needs with the skill sets and experience of my candidates I’ve been able to strike up partnerships that have been beneficial for both.

Nofa Zahreddine

I have a creative background, which is how my career began. I soon found that I was enjoying the sales side of my role more and more. I knew that I wanted to marry the creative with the sales aspect and decided to go into marketing recruitment. Throughout the past 3 years I have dedicated my career to getting to know the ins and outs of marketing, digital and communications. During this period I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know marketers, understanding their strengths and placing them in roles that allow them to progress and achieve.

I love marketing recruitment because: Because I love hearing about creative, engaging marketing where marketers reach out to their audience in so many various platforms, I find it so exciting and it’s possibilities endless!

Tina Dorricott

I moved into recruitment with Nicholas Andrews & Temps Financial in 1988. I discovered a genuine talent and passion for recruiting the best calibre candidates and have never lost the desire or ability to do deliver an unrivalled service that I’m very proud of.   I grew with the NA Group from their one office in Birmingham setting up and managing the satellite offices in the West Midlands. I stayed with the group until 2009.

Having worked with various other recruitment companies I have now decided to specialise in the vibrant world of marketing recruitment; a new and exciting challenge

Sandra Coady-Redmond

Having spent 18 years working in admin and support within professional services – I was looking for something that would use all of those skills, be a bit more exciting and where I could add real value.

When I met the team at TMRG not only was the role interesting , varied and a challenge but I really liked the team and felt immediately at ease with them.  Its early days but I am settling in well and feel part of the team already its fulfilled my wish to work in a professional environment but also a more relaxed and fun environment too.

I am new to recruitment but have an excellent track record in organising and managing processes and systems and I’m looking forward to helping the team continue to grow.

Ameet Marwaha

This is my first experience of the recruitment industry; after meeting the team I knew immediately it was the right place for me to build my career in recruitment.

I have worked in sales from a young age across many different products and services. The majority of my career has been in the Insurance industry which as most people will tell you it’s not the most exciting! However it has given me a great understanding of sales and customer service.  Within marketing I have been involved in PPC previously which was used to segment the market and target both B2b and B2C clients in unexplored markets – I managed a budget of £400 per day for this – which gave me a very useful insight and knowledge of the role of a digital marketer.

I love to meet new people and build lasting relationships, which is why I have always been keen to move into recruitment. I love the idea of finding people their perfect jobs!

Andy Farr

I started in recruitment way back in 1984 at Michael Page, when it was just a small 5 office business in UK. I learnt loads about working in a small, energetic, fully focussed team that knew the value of teamwork. They invented the term ‘work hard, play hard!  I eventually left and started Nicholas Andrews in 1987 with my business partner.  Over the next 14 years we grew the business to 14 offices and 150 staff, then sold it to Manpower.  I had a couple of years off and in 2004, started Andrew Farr Associates. Ably supported by many ex Nicholas Andrews employees, this new venture grew  to 7 offices and 50 staff.  I then sold the business to Randstad in 2008. Since then I have been involved as an investor to numerous small companies.

What do you love about the Midlands? The people for their direct, blunt approach and as a mad Birmingham City fan, the football!
Why do you love marketing: It is always pushing the boundaries

Little known fact: I was offered, and turned down, the job as drummer with, at that time, the unknown Dexys Midnight Runners – 6 months later they were Number 1 with Come on Eileen – and I’m supposed to give career advice!!!!!

Steve McGrath – Digital Consultant

I started working in recruitment over 20 years ago and during the last 10 years have worked predominantly in IT positions advising on, and implementing hardware, software and digital presence strategies for a number of recruitment companies. I am happiest with my head stuck in a laptop or server, or doing some late night coding on my latest web project.

What you love best about the Midlands: Whilst not a Midlander by birth, most of my work has been in and around the Midlands and the city is my spiritual home.
Why do you love recruitment: I love networking and meeting new people and in recruitment, there is lots of both of them!
Your guilty pleasure: Little Mix!
Little known fact: In my spare time, I am an accomplished Wedding Photographer.
